Tis the season to be Thankful, and I am THANKFUL for so many things.
First: For Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ who love me and know the true intent of my heart. It always amazes me the miracles that Heavenly Father has in store for all of us. I know that He loves me and always will no matter what. The trails that Christ went threw for me so that I can again with my family.
Second: A husband who loves and adores me no matter what!! Shane is such a wonderful man, and I love him with all my heart. I am so grateful for his work ethic, and that he allows me to stay home and raise our boys. I don't think there is a day that goes by that I don't ask him to call in sick and just stay home with us, knowing full well that he is his own boss and that there is no way that he can stay home, but I figure that it doesn't hurt to ask.
Third: The two sweetest boys ever!!
Jase is growing into a little boy!! He talks so clearly, and says some of the funniest things. He is the nicest older brother, whenever I am getting any food for Jase he is always sure that I get some for Gage also. I don't know if he just doesn't want to share but I take it as just watching out for his little brother. He never wants Shane or I to leave but when we have to, he is always asking us to "come back." Jase's first words when Dad walks in the house are usually "I want to wrestle, please dad." He is always so polite. Jase is always excited to see family and never wants to leave Grandma E's house. Brock and Jamey came down after Thanksgiving and we went and spent the day at Grandma E's. Jase was so excited to play with his cousin Dalton. For some reason he always asks about Dalton and so when he was able to go and play with Dalton he was so happy. I had to drag him out of my mom's house kicking and screaming, because he wanted Dalton to come and stay at our house. I put a picture of my little sister Keona up at our house and every day Jase walks by and says "there my cute Keona, hu mom."
Gage is always so happy. About the only time that he cries is if he is hungry, or wants something. He is starting to become a little chatterbox. He can say: thankyou, Keona (nana), Brant, Tay, ball, Mommy, Daddy, Jase, juice, stinky, uh-oh, bat. Gage likes to get into a lot of stuff. He is always going into my bathroom and pulling everything out of the drawers. He wants to do everything that Jase is doing and more. Loves to read books, he has started this new thing lately where he likes to bring me a book and a blanket, it is so cute. He doesn't want any help at all when it comes to eating, but he is a really good eater and will eat just about anything. Gage always has a cute little smile on his face and a big huge goose egg on his forhead. The other day I had Jase at the table coloring something, and I went to put something away and came right back, and Gage is sitting on top of my table. I about died!!! My table and chairs are the tall style, and he had never even tried to climb on the chairs before.
Forth: Family, what would I do with out them. Shane and I are so blessed to live close to both of our parents. Our kids have such a good relationship with both of their Grandparents!! I am so blessed with such a big family, I could go threw and tell you what I am thankful about each one of them and Shane's sister Meg, but I will leave it at they are all wonderful and unique in their own ways.
There so many other things that I am just so grateful for: Temples, the gospel, Joseph Smith, life, love, friendship, the joy of seeing my boys laugh every day, the plan of salvation, forgiveness, the beautiful seasons, the holidays, etc.
