It's A BOY!!

We are having another BOY!  We are really excited.  Jase is cute, when you ask him what we are going to name the baby he says "Hiccup!"  As for an actual name we haven't come up with any yet!  Boy names are hard!!  Plus, Shane and I haven't really talked about any names yet except for scrolling through the credits after a movie where we haven't found any good ones.  This also means that Shane is willing to have another baby!!  Yes, he has already admitted to it, now I just need to get it on paper and signed!

Funny Story
I was getting Gage dressed this morning and he puts his head through his shirt and says "I'm batman!"
Me "If your batman, then who does that make me, catwoman?"
Both Boys "NO! haha"
Jase "Your just the lady that cleans the house!"
Nice glad I could get put in my place....

Snow, Snow, and now rain

Can I just start out with I love the snow!!  It takes me back to being young and loving to play in it.  We used to get snow drifts up to the back of one of our sheds at the house that I grew up in, and I remember climbing ontop of the shed and sledding down it.  I loved to play in it until my hands got so cold that I could no longer feel them.  Plus I love how everything looks so clean.  With that being said we got a bunch of snow and wind (of coarse it is Idaho) with that brings snow drifts.  I will admit that shoveling the snow is not that much fun expectually when you get drifts that are like 2-4 feet high drifts.  But Jase and Gage loved it!
Ready to go
This one is in our back yard
This one is one the side of our house
This one is on the other side of our house and was piled there by the man that was plowing the roads.
Gage at the top!
I couldn't get Jase to stay up there long enough to get his picture, he just wanted to slide down.

Now today it is raining, sniff, sniff.  I love the snow and would like some more!!

H*A*L*L*O*W*E*E*N!!!

Okay, I know, I am a little late getting Halloween pictures up but here they are!!  We were going to go to Brock and Jamey's for Halloween, but both of my boys had been sick and I just didn't want to get them sick as well.  So we ended up going to my mom and dad's ward party.  It was inside and there was a dinner, so I was all for it!  This year Jase wanted to dress up as spider man, but when I asked him if he wanted to be a cowboy instead, he jumped all over it.
My boys get along really well.  Their favorite thing to do lately is wrestle(jump) on Jase's bed.

This picture was taken after he obviously just enjoyed his first piece of candy!!  Jase has always been a good kid!  Sure we have our days but who doesn't?  He is such a big helper.  When at a store and I tell him that he can get a treat, he will grab one tell me that he will share with Gage.  Carry it through the store and once we get to the checkout line will tell me that we don't really need to buy his candy for him.  So stinking sweet!!  Lately, his new thing is to say things just off of the top of his head, and most of the time they make no since at all or they make me laugh!!  Some of his quotes "Dad, it is so surprising how bad your feet smell!" Jase likes to call me a "fluffy girl" I don't know if it is because I am really getting a belly or maybe I am just "fluffy." "Okay, you big chicken" usually said when he is playing and not towards me!

Gage is my live wire!!  He has such a mischievous side to him.  He can talk in sentences and if you don't understand what he says he will say it until you get the point!!  Shopping with him is impossible!!  He has pretty much done everything from emptying an entire bottle of jet dry in the store to throwing things out of the cart.  He even tried opening the bottle of pine sol but I luckily caught him before he did that!  Oh yeah and lets not forget that he about fell out of the cart backwards and landed on the cement floor, but I was going around the cart to make him sit down and was able to catch him!  His favorite sayings are "I've got big muscles"-"Yes, I are" usually said when I tell him he can't do something.  "Jaser, lets wrestle"-"now I am mad!"  He is such an ornery, cute stink!

As for the third one, we are doing good!  We get to go see in the next couple of weeks what we are having!

The Next Chapter

Man life has been going by so quickly, and I will try to fill you in on the last 3 months.  First I went camping with the Barendregt side of the family (for those who don't know that is my mom's side of the family).  We went to Island Park which is the usual place that my family goes, except we rented the family campground.  It was so much fun!!  It was just me and the boys and they had a ball.  This was the 2nd time this year that I had taken the boys camping on my own.  We love our dad, but he just works too much!!  I hadn't been able to go camping with my family for the last 2 years, so I was dead set on going.  Jase and Gage had so much fun playing with all the cousins, it was too cold this year to do very many things in the water, but they enjoyed playing in all the mud.  I took pictures with my mom's camera, but I still haven't downloaded them to my computer, so those will have to come another day.  The best story of the trip was the night that I got scared by the wolves (coyotes)!  It is a funny but long story so if you want to hear the rest, ask me sometime and I will tell you.  The worst part of the story is that my oldest brother told me that I acted like the stupid girl on all the terror movies that does all the wrong things.  Thank Heaven for ornery older brothers who love to tease!

Second we've moved!

Yep we are back in our old subdivision, but living in a different house.  This house is a little smaller, but has about 10 times more yard, which I absolutely love!!  So much room for my boys to run and play!  It also has a long drive way so that boys can ride their bikes up and down it without going onto the road!!  Jase and Gage have spent tons of time outside looking for bugs, worms, and just about anything that they can catch (except spiders, we step on those)!  We have been sick these last couple of weeks though, so we have had to stay inside.
We had to plant trees and grass, above is a picture of the backyard before we planted
The boys helping dad level the dirt around the trees

Different angle of the back yard after it has been planted, and Shane has done a great job at mowing it!
Of coarse the boy had to get into the mud!! Ryker above-Jase below

 Boys being boys

Needless to say they have had a ton of fun outside
A couple of weeks ago I took the boys to a pumpkin patch, and Jase had to pick the biggest one that he could carry
Gage had a fun time just wandering
Last-I am pregnant!!  Most of you know this already.  I am due April 6th and we are excited, Jase and Gage love to kiss my belly.  Jase things that it is going to be a girl, and daddy thinks that it is going to be our last.  We will see who is right.

Life in the Fast Lane

Summer seems like it has been flying by...  So many things are happening!!  First Shane and I had our 9th anniversary July 26th.  It is so hard to believe that we have been married for that long.  We were able to enjoy dinner without the boys, thanks to the in-laws who were willing to take them.  Shane is truly the love of my life!!  I am grateful for him and how hard he works for our family.

We celebrated Gage's 2nd Birthday on the 27th.  He is getting so big!!  Gage loves to get into everything and anything, and is such a brute!! I will be sitting on the floor and he will come running full speed and tackle me, he just has no fear what so ever...  He definitely has a mind of his own, and wants to push you as far as he can, but on the other hand he hates to get into trouble.  He is talking so well, most days I think his favorite words are "no mom."  He is a very active boy and loves to be on anything that moves.  He has a dump truck that he loves to push everywhere.

The next day on the 28th, I left for girls camp.  We went to Alturis Lake, it was a lot of fun, but I now realize what a headache I probably was growing up.  So to all of my leaders out there if you by chance are reading this I am sorry..  On the other hand is was a very spiritual experience, and I loved it!!  It is fun to go and be with the girls and have it not be such a formal setting.  I went on the 10 mile hike on Thursday and when we got back I was so tired, but it was so beautiful.  We came back on Friday, and I have never been so happy to see my three boys.  I was so tired and worn out, I think I am still trying to get caught up on my sleep...

I was able to go and take some pictures of my boys the other day!!  Jase did great he could be a little model, but Gage on the other hand, wanted to look everywhere but the camera.

Horse Riding and Fishing

Jase loves to go to my moms's house and ride her horses!!  He has been begging me last few times that we have been down there to go out and ride the horses, but there is always so much going on.  On Tuesday when we went down Keona was so wonderful and she saddled up Fancy for us so that the boys could ride.  I didn't think that I would be able to get Gage on the horse because he is sort of funny about things that move, but once I got him on there he didn't want to get off.

This is Dalton (on the horse), Keona (who is so wonderful and lead Fancy around, and Jase

Gage playing in the dirt

Jase decided that he needed to join Gage and show him how it was done!!

FISHING!!!
So I finally got Shane talked into going fishing!!  It has only taken 11 years (including our dating years) to get him to GO, but we went today!!  I was so excited that I was finally able to get us there.  The boys were so excited, Jase has been talking for months about how he wanted to get a fishing pole and go fishing.  So this morning we get all packed up and head to Hagerman, and as soon as I open the door my allergies took hold.  I was bawling by the time that I got Gage out of the car, my eyes were watering so bad!!  I thought to myself, I won't let this bother me I have worked to hard to let a simple thing like allergies stop us now.  So we headed off down a trail trying to find the BEST spot!!

We finally found a place where we could set up shop.  We get our lines all out in the water, Gage falls in the water, now we sit and wait, and wait , and wait.  We didn't get a single bit :(  I was a little sad...

So I decide that I would try a little bit futher down and as I am walking down the bank I see a SNAKE!! After that I was done. Call me a wuss, but I can't handle my kids wondering around with snakes. So we get ready to head back to the car, and what do you know there is another snake right there on the path. So maybe another day we will have more luck, and maybe find a spot that has a few less snakes. Next time I will remember to take the anti-histamines as well!!
I am happy though at least we got to go fishing!!

The boys in my life!!!

First Shane, the love of my life...  I am so grateful to have this man as my husband, he is truly one of a kind.  We have been together for 11 years now, and on Tuesday he is turning 29.  We met when I was 16 and have been together ever since.  There is not a day that goes by that I do think about how lucky I am to have married such a wonderful, hard working, loving, caring, funny man.
He is so good with our boys.  Here is showing how good he is at feeding the boys.
Shane isn't in this pic because he is pitching the ball, but Jase absolutely loves to play ball with his dad.
Gage has become a real daddy's boy lately!!  When dad comes home Gage goes running for the door screaming "daddy, daddy, daddy."  Shane and the boys are always on the floor wrestling.

Jase is such a big boy!!  He is always so aware of how others are feeling!!  He is a great big brother.  For the most part he is always happy and is so smart!!  There isn't a day that goes by that he doesn't say or do something that just makes me laugh.  He is learning so much every day!!  The other day we were eating breakfast and Jase looked up and said "did you know that the SPIRIT lives inside the Temple?"  It amazes me the things that he comes up with, I sometimes wonder if Heavenly Father sends messages threw little ones.

This is what my boys want to do every day.  They love to go for walks and ride their bikes.  It has been raining lately, but when we get outside they want to find every puddle and stomp in it.  They also love to go and dig in the dirt.  All in all they just love to be out side and going!!

This is a typical Gage face!!  He is always getting into food and eating what ever he can get into.  He always has a big grin on his face until you make him mad.  Gage has more of a temper than Jase, but is still a very happy boy.  He is so aggressive and is willing to try anything and everything..  Most of the time we have to have Gage do something first before Jase will try it.
This is how Gage likes to ride his bike down the street!!  Always living on the edge!!
Gage is talking more and more every day.  On the way out to my mom's house he yells the name of about everything that he sees "track-tor, horse, moo."

Another Blanket For (drum roll please)

Yep Jase...  Don't ask me why he needed another blanket.  The boy already sleeps with 3 blankets, and I have absolutely, possitively no idea where in the world he got that from.  I mean I only sleep with two.  That is not bad right??

I decided that I would like to make all of us a blanket this year, so for Shane I put a new back and retied his levi blanket that he absolutely loves.  I told him after I got done with that I would never retie it for him again, and that I would just make a new one.  So I better start collecting levi's now so that I will be ready when that time comes.

Gage needed a bigger blanket because all of his other ones he has out grown or worn out.  Is soon as I showed him this one he absolutely loved it and wanted it.  So I made it as quick as I could and he hasn't let it go since.

I didn't want Jase to feel left out so I decided that I would make him one.  I asked him what he wanted on his blanket and the first thing that he said was circles..  Then I asked him what colors he wanted and he said green.  I know that it doesn't have a ton of green, but he is happy with it.  Jase's blanket started out with just a few circles and then I think I got a little circle happy and then decided to add his name.

All of it started because I wanted a new blanket and mine is the last to be made.   I haven't even begun mine, but I do have the fabric and I have an idea of what I want to do so you will have to stay tuned and as soon as I get it done I will post some pictures of it also...

Hope you all enjoy!!

Boys and their toys

We have been sick a lot this last month, and Jase and Gage are sick again...  Shane and I have had strep throat, while the boys have bronchitus.  It just seems like we can't get over it...  But life seems like it has been crazy busy lately as well.  This last weekend was no different.  Meg and Link came down and we were able to spend a little bit of time with them and then we headed down to Poky to watch Monster Trucks with Ty and Natalie.  The boys were so excited and I think that they loved it!!  The next day we were able to go and see my little sister, Tayli get baptized.  Seems like we are always on the go.

This was the boys before the show, just ready for the Trucks to start!!
All I can say is there are a lot of crazy people out there!!
Tuesday I decided that it was time to give the boys their hair cuts...  Their hair was so long!!!

Jase screamed the entire time that I cut his hair!!  When we got done doing Jase told me that he didn't like his hair cut but Gage's looked awesome.
