Halloween, pheasant hunting and so much more

Here is the kiddos on Halloween

Jase, Gage, and I attempted to build a Haunted House, and I can say two things.  One I have absolutely no desire to do any cake decorating and two I don't think that we will attempt it again!!!  It was store bought and tasted absolutely nasty (the boys loved it and thought it was great, I think the only thing they ate was the candy and icing.)
Here is a picture of the boys with a couple of pheasants that Shane shot.

Pumpkins

This year I decided to change things up a bit with the pumkins.  My pumkins didn't turn orange this year so I decided that we would paint them.  Jase and Gage thought this was a wonderful idea!!  They had so much fun painting the pumkins and they did a pretty dang good job too.  By the time we were done Gage was covered in paint from head to toe!!  Here are the boys getting them painted
This is how the turned out!! It was a ton of fun and pretty easy!!

Okay so I cheated a little I used vinyl for the pictures and words

Toothless

A couple weeks ago Gage and Jase were playing catch with a football and Gage caught one in the mouth.  At first I thought he has taken plenty of hits in the mouth and he will be fine.  Then about a week later he got an infection above left front tooth.  So we took him into see Greg (very grateful that they are finally here so that we knew who to go to!)  We ended up having to pull the tooth out, so here is his last picture with all of his baby teeth
and his first without his front tooth.
Blaze has started to say a few words his favorites are: mama, dada, go, gog(dog), du(duck), ball, and awe.  He is definitely my most opinionated child and the worst eater that I have had.  He throws everthing either in the dirty clothes or the garbage.  On day i found Jase's shoes, the remote and clothes all in the garbage.  Shane will be playing catch with the other two boys and Blaze will go line up next to them and want Dad to throw the ball to him too.
Jase has been playing flag football this last month.  He is one on the littlest on the team, but he is playing with 8 to 5 year olds so it is understandable why he is small.  He had a few weeks where he just didn't want to go to school, but here lately he has been a lot better.

Life is crazy but good

Jase Starts School

I can't believe that he is 5.  Jase was so ready for his first day of school it was all he could talk about!!  He has a wonderful teacher, who I have heard nothing but absolute praise about her.

summer update

I have been bad about blogging this summer so I will try to catch you up on what we have done thus far!!!
First when went to the Boise Zoo!  Boys loved it!

and you can't go to the zoo with out riding the carousel

Then we have had a few visitors

Meg and Bevan (Shane's sister and her baby) came and spent the day with us

My Mom and Keona went to Guatemala so Tayli got to come and visit us for a week!
Enjoyed some days in the sun

Blaze is the cutest thing trying to get into his little swimming pool!

First he would try lifting his leg up and over the edge which was really hard

Then he would decide that he had enough he would dive right in.
When he was finally in he would turn around and give a big cheeser grin, then get out and do it all over agian.  This boy loves the water!

Had a Hot Dog Roast

Played some Baseball-Shane coached again this summer and we totally loved it!
Hope your summer has been as fun as ours!!

Animal Sounds

Every time that I go to my mom's house we take a walk outside and see the animals and I make the animal noises with every one of them that we see.  When Blaze and I went out there yesterday as soon as Blaze saw the dogs he started yelling "wow, wow."  He is scared to death of them so then as soon as the come near us he starts climbing up my shoulder trying to get as high as he can.  Then we get out to the horses and he is almost to the point where he will touch one!  I do a lip roll for them and Blaze repeats.  It was so cute and I was so suprised!  As we walk by the pigs that the kids are doing for 4H he just laughs and giggles as they snort and run around.
We all love this little guy so much!!
